La “Q” has celebrated over 16 years as “the house of the wolf”; a lusty premium steakhouse styled after a stable in a French Château. Its new home at 1181 de la Montagne is a luxurious temple of pleasure featuring dry-aged (on premise) USDA prime beef, an award-winning wine cellar, and the highest standard in hospitality. La Queue de Cheval smacks of conquest, play, appetite, and acquisition… and it has redrawn the culinary landscape of Montreal and has become legendary in the hospitality industry. The mother company has created 13 unique restaurant concepts, over 65 restaurants in 17 years and the infamous two signature venues La Queue de Cheval, and Trinity Estiatorio that have drawn international acclaim and have expanded globally.
I left the place, roses in hand, impressed by the service, making you feel like you’re on-top-of-the-world, meat-cravings satisfied… feeling like one hell of a lucky gal!
For anyone looking for that dining experience that takes it a notch above the rest, it’s La Queue de Cheval. No matter who you are, you will be treated like you are the most important person in the place.
I had an incredible experience at Queue de Cheval. I highly recommend hitting the cigar bar for a scotch and cigar before dinner – especially for Americans because of the access to Cuban cigars.
Decided to celebrate and take out a few visiting family members. Seriously, service is off the chart, food is off the chart. Steak is not of this continent. Its actually pack full of satisfaction and then some.
